Mr. David Downing serves as Chief Marketing Officer at Thought Industries. He served as Chief Marketing Officer at Cloud Elements. He also served as the Chief Marketing Officer at SnapLogic. He brings three decades of B2B technology marketing experience, helping some of the industry's leading companies launch disruptive new categories, accelerate revenue growth, build leadership brands and establish marketing organizations that scale globally. A proven marketing leader at companies large and small -- including Informatica, NetSuite, Oracle, SAP, Adobe, and most recently, BlackLine Systems -- Downing has the right mix of knowledge, experience and leadership to further position SnapLogic as the application and data integration standard globally. He served as a Chief Marketing Officer & Senior Vice President at Netsuite. His leadership skills and innovative marketing strategies have been employed at some of the technology industry's leading organizations, including Adobe, Oracle, Informatica and SAP. Before joining NetSuite, he was the vice president of marketing at venture-backed MetaLINCS, a leading provider of electronic discovery software to Fortune 500 corporations, which was acquired by Seagate Technology, in December 2007. Previously, he worked at SAP where he was an integral part of the team building support for SAP NetWeaver among independent software vendors (ISVs) and the venture capital community. As the vice president of marketing at Informatica, Downing was a key member of the management team that built the company into a worldwide leader in data integration and business intelligence, which included a highly successful IPO in 1999. He holds a BS degree from Boston University.
