He also serves as a Board Member at Fabmart. Until recently, he was the CEO of Home Solutions, a Future Group company, India's largest furniture, home products, and consumer electronics company. Prior, he was the President and CEO of Madura Garments, India's largest branded apparel company, and Nike India. His expertise is in retail, lifestyle, apparel, and FMCG, which he has built up over a period of 22 years. He has built and created new businesses, world-class retail innovations, and major brands. He delivered on a turnaround strategy to make India's largest apparel company into a profitable powerhouse. He has been among the pioneers in retail in India and was ranked the 12th most powerful person in Indian retail in 2006. He has built and established explosive retail expansion and innovation formats. He has demonstrated leadership that builds and nurtures outstanding talent and has led large teams with aggressive growth in the spirits and FMCG businesses. He launched the brand Nike in India and established the business entity in 2003. He has created significant shareholder value by building brands and product competencies and built one of India's largest retail networks and distribution models.
