Mr. Alan Chiu is a Co-Founder and serves as Chief Executive Officer & Board Member at Enya. He is a Co-Founder and serves as Head of Data at Blockdoc. He serves as a Partner at XSeed Capital. He is a Co-Founder of Listo. His investment areas include mobile enterprise applications, next-generation data center stack, and data analytics platforms and applications. He serves on the Board of Directors of StackStorm and supports other portfolio companies including Lex Machina, AtScale, Dispatcher, Teapot, Pixlee, SIPX (acquired by ProQuest), Zooz, and BrainofT. Mr. Chiu is currently Vice President for Stanford Angels & Entrepreneurs, an alumni association that seeks to strengthen Stanford's startup community by fostering relationships among entrepreneurs and alumni investors. He was previously Director of Product Management at Bycast (acquired by NetApp), an object storage software company with a global customer base that included some of the largest digital content repositories in the world. At Bycast, he and his team drove the product roadmap, managed OEM relationships with IBM and HP, and developed strategies to enter new vertical markets. Prior to Bycast, Mr. Chiu served as an engineering manager at a network security start-up and helped develop the market-leading digital prepress workflow system at Creo, which was acquired by Kodak for $1B in cash. He holds a BASc in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of British Columbia, as well as an MS in Management from the Stanford Graduate School of Business, where he was a Sloan Fellow focused on entrepreneurship, venture capital, and mergers and acquisitions.
