Mr. Marc Weiser is a Co-Founder and serves as Board Member & Managing Director at RPM Ventures. He also serves as Chairman at McKinley. Before co-founding RPM, Marc co-founded QuantumShift, a provider of web-based business-to-business technology and services focused on corporate telecommunications needs; he then led the company through multiple rounds of financing. Marc was also one of the first employees at MessageMedia (purchased by DoubleClick), where he pioneered some of the original methods for e-commerce transactions and launched the first internet merchants. He was also a member of the road-show team for the company's initial public offering. In addition to his board roles for RPM, Marc is vice-chair of McKinley, Inc., one of the largest private real estate companies in the United States. He is also a member of the National Advisory Council Science Committee for NASA, and he serves on the board of the James Beard Foundation. Previously, Marc was a founding member of the board of the Center for Entrepreneurship (CFE) and an adjunct professor at the University of Michigan, where he was also on the board of the Wolverine Venture Fund. Marc served on the Board of Trustees of the Ann Arbor Area Community Foundation, and also received the University of Michigan Alumni Distinguished Service Award for his efforts in founding the CFE, the TechArb (student accelerator), and the Masters in the Entrepreneurship program. Additionally, he and his wife led the creation of the Mary H. Weiser Food Allergy Center at the University of Michigan, which provides national leadership and a path to a cure for those who suffer from food allergies. Marc graduated cum laude with a bachelor's degree in aerospace engineering from the University of Michigan, where he also earned an MBA with the highest honors. He serves as Board Member at biproxi.
