He has spearheaded Peak Pitch, the Vermont version of an elevator pitch substituting a chairlift for an elevator since 2010. Cairn was a co-founder of Startup Vermont in 2012. He is a former member of the Vermont Board of Public Accountancy and was formerly a director and Vice Chairman of Opportunities Credit Union and formerly a director of the Vermont Community Loan Fund. Mr. Cross is also a Lecturer for the University of Vermont and Champlain College, focusing on business, entrepreneurship and venture capital.
