Mr. F. Scott Moody is a Co-Founder & serves as Chief Executive Officer, Chief Member Advocate, Chief Mission Officer & Chairman of K4Connect. He is an Advisory Board Member and Investor at Cofounders Capital. He is also an Advisor at Stonehenge Growth Equity Partners. Prior to this, he co-founded and was a Board Member at Authentec. He is a highly successful entrepreneur that took a venture-backed company from start-up to successful IPO. He actively sources and evaluates growth equity investment opportunities for Stonehenge Growth Equity Partners, particularly in the State of North Carolina. He is a Co-Founder and was a Chairman of AuthenTec, where he served as Chief Executive Officer (NASDAQ: AUTH; Acquired by Apple). A spinout from Harris Corporation (NYSE: HRS), AuthenTec was a leading provider of fingerprint sensors and identity management software. AuthenTec was the first public company ever acquired by Apple and their second largest acquisition to date. AuthenTec's fingerprint sensors are now the technology behind the Touch ID home button first introduced on the iPhone 5S. Prior to AuthenTec, he was a senior level executive within Harris Corporation where he had responsibility for a $200 million semiconductor business unit. Over the years he has been featured on TV and in publications such as the Wall Street Journal, Bloomberg, CNBC Squawk Box, Entrepreneur, New York Times, Fortune and others. He is a frequent speaker at investor, corporate and university events on both innovation and entrepreneurship, and is often a judge at various startup programs in the US, Rwanda and Ghana. He received a BS in Industrial Engineering from North Carolina State University and an executive MBA from the University of Florida.
