In 1996, Rich co-founded Rubicon Medical, Inc. and served as President and Chief Executive Officer, taking the company public in 2000 and overseeing its acquisition by Boston Scientific in 2005. Following his tenure at Boston Scientific, where Rich served as Vice President of Vascular Protection, he served as President/CEO and a Director of Coherex Medical from 2006 to 2012. Coherex is a company dedicated to the minimally invasive treatment of structural heart disease. Mr. Linder also serves on the board of directors of Vital Access Corporation, a vascular access company. In addition to his leadership duties, Mr. Linder is very involved in the medical device and biotech community in Utah. Rich is a Co-Founder and Director of BIO-Utah, Utah's life science industry association, and currently serves as Chairman of the Board. He is a member of the University of Utah Biomedical Industrial Advisory Board and was voted a member of the College of Fellows of the American Institute for Medical and Biological Engineering (AIMBE). Rich is a member of the Volunteer Leadership Council for the College of Physical and Mathematical Sciences at Brigham Young University. Mr. Linder holds dozens of U.S. and international issued patents and pending patent applications for medical technologies in the areas and disease states coronary artery disease, peripheral vascular disease, neuro-interventional radiology, structural heart disease and heart failure. Mr. Robert Duggan is the Founder & serves as Chief Executive Officer at Duggan Investments (Florida). He serves as Board Member at Human Longevity. Mr. Duggan also serves as Chief Executive Officer at Summit. Mr. Duggan has been a member of the Board of Directors since September 2007 and was voted in as Chairman in September of 2008 after the resignation of its former Chairman. Since that time, Mr. Duggan has not received any compensation from the Company in any form, nor has he received any options for his services to the Company. Mr. Duggan has also served as Chairman of the Board of Directors of Computer Motion, Inc., a computerized surgical systems company, from 1990 to 2003 and Chief Executive Officer from 1997. Computer Motion was acquired by Intuitive Surgical, Inc. in 2003. At that time Mr. Duggan became a Board Member of Intuitive Surgical, Inc. and served on its board until March 2011. Mr. Duggan has been an entrepreneur and industrialist for more than 30 years. He has participated as a CEO of, a director of, investor in and advisor to numerous small and large businesses in the medical equipment, computer local and wide area network, PC hardware and software distribution, digital encryption, consumer retail goods and outdoor media communication industry. Mr. Duggan has also assisted in corporate planning, capital formation and management for his various investments.
