Mr. Nicholas Tiller is the Founder and serves as Chairman at Sustainable America. He also served as Portfolio Manager at SAC Private Capital Group. For 12 years, Nick built the energy practice at SAC Capital/Point72 from a two-person effort to 10 portfolio teams and 30 investment professionals. He managed a long/short equity and commodity portfolio with over $1.5 billion gross capital. The energy group was profitable every year and was consistently one of the top-performing sectors at the firm. At Fidelity Investments, Nick was first a food sector analyst, then an energy analyst and portfolio manager of the $1 billion Fidelity Select Energy Services Fund, which outperformed its benchmark each year under his management. As a student at Harvard Business School, Nick earned the Dean's Award for leadership and community service by co-founding the Harbus Foundation, a grant-making, student-run organization dedicated to improving literacy, education and journalism. Nick was named The Wall Street Journal's "Donor of the Day" for his venture philanthropy with the Multiple Myeloma Research Foundation. He serves as a director on the board of trustees of The Nature Conservancy, Connecticut. Nick grew up in Springfield, Ohio, where his family owns and preserves hundreds of acres of farmland. In addition to his philanthropy and his work with Sustainable America, Nick manages investments for his family office and advocates for impact investing. He was also the Founder and served as Managing Partner, Executive Officer & Limited Partner at Precocity Capital.
