Dr. Ziyavudin Magomedov is the Founder of Caspian Venture Capital. He is a Russian entrepreneur, venture capitalist and philanthropist. He served as Board Member at Virgin Hyperloop. He's made a global name for himself as the founder, co-owner and chairman of Summa Group, which has emerged as the one of the nation's leaders in ports, logistics, transport, gas and construction. Magomedev is also a driving force in global sports and entertainment, helping turn Fight Nights Global into Europe's largest MMA promotion company with headline events featuring A-list athletes worldwide. He's also a prominent figure in other sports as president of the Admiral Vladivostok hockey club and an active backer of the Night Hockey League. Magomedov is an ardent philanthropist, devoting a large part of his life to preserving cultural and historical heritage and improving education in Russia. Among his contributions is financing the complete renovation of a number of beloved Russian institutions including the Bolshoi Theater. Magomedov graduated from the economics faculty of Moscow State University in 1994 with a degree in the global economy. He earned his PhD in economics in 2000.
