Mr. George Donovan is the Founder of Gogii Games and also serves as its President & Chief Executive Officer. He is also an Angel Investor. George has had many successes at his young age, his newest company, Gogii Games is a growing game development studio in Moncton with development teams in Nova Scotia, Prague, France and Romania that allow Gogii to develop products rapidly, yet still maintain a strong quality bar that has given them 9 #1 titles. Gogii launches 8-10 titles per year in over ten languages, 4-5 times more than other studios with over 50 staff. Since its start in 2006, Gogii Games has produced more than 45 products. The studio has a deep network of relationships with some of the world's most successful online and retail distributors; published titles are available in multiple formats including online downloads, PC/MAC retail, Nintendo Wii, NDS, Apple iPad/iPhone, and mobile phones. Gogii Games has been a reliable source for consistently strong casual products for every aspect of the industry with such franchises as Escape the Museum 1 & 2, The Hidden Object Show 1 & 2, and the #1 hit Princess Isabella: A Witch's Curse. Since its release in August 2009, Princess Isabella has proven to be the best-selling game in company history, claiming both Big Fish Games' Adventure Game of the Year award in 2009 and Top Adventure Game in the Annual Great Game Awards at Casual Connect 2010. Gogii Games has recently acquired what was formerly Kanji and is now the Gogii Games Engine, a 2D game engine for Windows, Mac, iPhone and iPad with high performance, reliability and improved compatibility. The engine allows Gogii Games to further advance its top-quality calibre of games and will aid in the launch of its new Apple iPad product line, which was kicked off with the best-selling Princess Isabella: A Witch's Curse. Formerly, George owned Infiknowledge Inc., there he designed and grew Gamefiesta.com and the Toybox Games team and gathered the skill set required to understand the consumer side of casual gaming. In 2001, he sold the company to Traffix Inc a publically traded marketing company. George took Infiknowledge from a team of 3 to nearly 90 in core development specialties for web development, design and hosting and still maintain a strong employee presence in Moncton. In addition to being a guest speaker and panelist at a number of IT seminars and conventions, George has contributed to a number of marketing research and forecasting reports, and trade magazines around the world. He also won the Young Entrepreneur Award in Technology for Atlantic Canada by Human Resource Development Canada and ACOA in 2002, and Emerging Entrepreneur of the Year for 2009 from Ernest and Young for Atlantic Canada. George was valedictorian of the International Software Marketing program at Miramichi College, and holds a bachelor's degree from the University of New Brunswick, which in 2009 Gogii established a scholarship for BSC students.
