Mr. Mark Greenough is the Founder and serves as Chairman at Greenough Consulting Group. He also serves as Chief Financial Officer at Monta Vista Capital. He also is an Angel Investor. He has an extensive CFO, finance and consulting background with 30 years in the professional services business and five years in the venture industry. He began his consulting career at Ernst and Young in 1980 and has since worked with hundreds of companies, from early stage startups to Fortune 500 organizations. In 1999, Mark founded Greenough Consulting Group (GCG) to bring his expertise to entrepreneurs and venture funds. To date, Mark has worked with nearly 150 clients and has served as an interim CFO to more than 50. He focuses on mentoring management teams through the venture process, and providing services for the managing directors of the venture funds that support them. Prior to founding his own consulting practice, GCG, Mark spent five years as the CFO of US Venture Partners. Earlier in his career, he was a budget analyst with Levi Strauss & Co and a manager at Arthur Young & Co. (now Ernst and Young) in both the audit and consulting practices. Mark holds an MBA in Finance from the University of Oregon and a BS in Finance and Accounting from the Oregon State University.
